Job Description
The Audit and Assurance Analyst is responsible for supporting and executing internal audit functions, risk assessments, and compliance monitoring activities.
Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in business operations and information systems.
Develop and maintain the organization’s risk register.
Monitor emerging risks and contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies.
Work with stakeholders to embed risk management practices into business processes.
Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing internal audits across departments.
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
Nation-wide inventory management controls and effectiveness of monitoring process.
Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.
Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely remediation.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards
Monitor internal policy adherence and maintain documentation.
Support compliance training initiatives and awareness campaigns.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, information systems, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with 3 – 5 years of senior or supervisory experience in financial and operational audit, risk management, and / or compliance.
Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards with strong data analysis skills.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and governance practices.
