To supervise and manage all warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, and material movements for telecommunications network equipment. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring efficient inbound and outbound logistics, secure storage, inventory accuracy, timely distribution of network tower equipment, and effective coordination with procurement, project, logistics, and field operations to support network rollout, maintenance, and business continuity.

Job Description

Warehouse Operations

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of telecommunications network equipment.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials.
  • Manage warehouse space utilization, storage optimization, and housekeeping to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, labeling, and preservation of high-value and sensitive telecom equipment.

Inventory & Asset Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for RAN, transmission, microwave, power systems, fiber optic materials, IT hardware, network tower equipment, tools, and spare parts.
  • Lead inventory control activities including cycle counts, stock audits, reconciliation, and variance investigations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with Procurement to maintain optimum stock availability.
  • Ensure proper asset tracking, serialization, and equipment traceability throughout the warehouse lifecycle.
  • Manage equipment returns, warranty claims (RMA), repair processes, and disposal in accordance with company procedures.

Logistics Coordination

  • Plan and coordinate logistics activities for deliveries to field engineers, project sites, regional warehouses, and vendors.
  • Monitor shipment schedules, transportation providers, and delivery performance to ensure timely material availability.
  • Coordinate urgent material mobilization during network outages, emergency restoration, and critical deployment activities.
  • Optimize transportation and warehouse processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise, allocate, and monitor daily activities of warehouse personnel.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance management to warehouse staff.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Compliance & Quality
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse SOPs, company policies, quality standards, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
  • Conduct routine inspections of warehouse facilities, equipment, and storage conditions.
  • Ensure all warehouse documentation, inventory transactions, and logistics records are accurate, complete, and audit-ready.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Project Management, Network Operations, Engineering, and vendors to support business operations.
  • Support technical teams in verifying equipment specifications, compatibility, and deployment readiness.
  • Prepare operational reports, inventory analysis, logistics performance reports, and management dashboards.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, and logistics performance.
  • Develop and monitor warehouse KPIs, recommending corrective actions where required.
  • Support warehouse automation, digital inventory systems, and operational excellence initiatives.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Experience in telecommunications, network infrastructure, or tower operations is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications network equipment including RAN, transmission, microwave, fiber optic, power systems, batteries, IT hardware, network tower equipment, and related accessories.
  • Experience using ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or inventory management software.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics coordination, inventory control, and asset management.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety standards, quality systems, and HSE requirements.
