Job Description

The QHSEW Support Officer provides operational and administrative support to the Quality, Health, Safety, Social, Environmental, and Wellbeing functions. The role assists in implementing policies, maintaining compliance, supporting audits, and promoting a safe, healthy, inclusive, and environmentally responsible workplace across the organisation.

 

1.    Assist in implementing and maintaining QHSEW systems, policies, and procedures across the organisation.
2.    Support workplace inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments in line with company and regulatory requirements.
3.    Maintain accurate QHSEW documentation, registers, records, and logs.
4.    Prepare and organise documentation for internal and external audits, track and follow up on corrective actions.
5.    Assist in organising and delivering safety inductions, training sessions, and awareness programs for employees.
6.    Support environmental initiatives, including monitoring compliance with environmental regulations and company ESMS plans.
7.    Assist in the reporting and documentation of incidents, hazards, and near-misses,, ensure timely submission and follow-up.
8.    Support employee wellbeing initiatives and programs that promote social responsibility and ethical workplace practices.
9.    Prepare QHSEW reports, dashboards, and summaries for management review.
10.    Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure awareness and compliance with QHSEW requirements.
11.    Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in quality, health, safety, environmental, and wellbeing practices.
12.    Assist in ad hoc projects and activities as assigned by the QHSEW Coordinator, HRBP, or management.

6.    Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

9.    Committed to promoting a safe and inclusive workplace culture.
10.    Reports to the QHSE Specialist / HR Business Partner and works closely with HR and Operations teams.
