The Retail Team Leader plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving sales performance at the Vodafone retail store. This position is responsible for leading and motivating the retail team, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high merchandising standards, and meeting sales targets. The Retail Team Leader is also a key point of contact for customer engagement and product knowledge, setting the tone for service excellence in the store.
• Lead, manage, and motivate the roadshow team to achieve targets and deliver exceptional customer service and Plan daily calls outs for team
• Conduct regular team meetings to ensure clear communication and provide guidance on event objectives and expectations. Set teams sales targets & monitor teams’ sales target.
• Coordinate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure alignment of event goals and objectives.
• Coach and develop team members to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and customer interaction techniques.
• Ensure the team engages with customers effectively, providing relevant information and promoting company products/services.
• Handle customer inquiries and feedback, ensuring all issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of roadshow activities, including attendance, customer interactions, and sales metrics.
• Set daily, weekly, and event-specific targets for the team
• Stock management and Reporting - daily and weekly reports on trade performance, training, etc
• Issuing of IT tools (Tablets) for RSA team to work with and collect back tools at the end of work each day.
• Any other responsibilities assigned to by the manager
• Bachelors’ degree or postgraduate qualifications in business, management or related field.
• 3-4 years experience in dealership and retail operations.
• Knowledge of the telecommunications industry would be an added advantage.
• Ability to manage and lead a dynamic and highly skilled team responsible for a diverse range of products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with staff and budget management experience.
