The Solutions Architect – IT Infrastructure is responsible for evaluating an organization’s business needs and determining how IT can support those needs leveraging software, hardware, or infrastructure. On a day-to-day basis, the position will be responsible for driving technical discussions, designing IT infrastructure solutions, responding to RFIs/RFPs, implementing complex and large IT infrastructure projects, building business value assessments, and recommending sales strategies to key internal stakeholders. The successful candidate should be results-oriented, customer-focused, and possess advanced skills in technical solution mapping with a strong ability to build value-adding relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Engage with clients to understand and translate business requirements into solutions.
• Manage presales engagement and work closely with cross functional teams to develop high- and low-level designs, blueprint and plans for testing and implementation.
• Educate, train and onboard clients after successful deployment of solution/project.
• Provide coaching, training and capacity development to team members to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and skills.
• Continually review technology and apply industry best practices and standards to ensure optimal performance.
• A degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computing Science, or similar discipline with relevant technical certifications in Networking, Telephony and Infrastructure.
• At least 3 years’ experience in designing and project managing networking, connectivity and telephony solutions (IP, DIA, IPVPN, WAN, SDWAN, Cloud PBX, and similar domains).
• Experience with Windows Server (including SQL & Exchange), VMware/Hyper- V/Veeam, Cloud (Public/Private/Hybrid), Storage Solutions-SANs, Cloud, Converged and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, IT Security, Backup and DR, Experience in office 365, Cisco, HPE, Palo Alto, Meraki, AWS, Azure, CCTV, Biometric Systems, IoT, Firewall, PBX (cloud/Legacy) will be a distinct advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
