Vodafone PNG is seeking a dynamic and results-driven ICT Sales Executive to join our Corporate Business Markets team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving incremental sales and revenue growth by actively pursuing business opportunities and delivering innovative ICT solutions to our clients. This role requires a motivated individual with a strong understanding of ICT products and services, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and diverse specialist resources. • Actively pursue new ICT, Cloud, Security, and AI business opportunities within Corporate and Business market segments.
• Assess customers’ requirements and recommend tailored ICT and digital transformation solutions aligned to business outcomes.
• Drive solution selling across connectivity, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, AI-enabled services, and collaboration platforms.
• Support the Sales Team in responding to tenders, RFPs, and RFQs, ensuring high-quality technical-commercial submissions.
• Manage end-to-end customer engagement from solution design to delivery handover.
• Provide strategic insights into customer needs, industry trends, and emerging technologies (Cloud, AI, Security) to influence solution offerings.
• Position Vodafone PNG as a trusted ICT and Digital Transformation partner.
• Achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets from both existing and new accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with executives, technical stakeholders, vendors, and partners.
• Stay updated with the latest ICT, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and AI innovations.
Desired Skills and Experience
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Networking, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in ICT sales, business development, or technology solution selling.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in the ICT or technology sector.
• Experience selling Cloud, Security, or AI-related solutions will be highly regarded.
Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of ICT infrastructure solutions (SD-WAN, WAN, MPLS, IPVPN, WiFi, Internet, SIP/VoIP, IP Telephony).
• Mandatory knowledge in Cloud technologies (Public/Private Cloud, Microsoft 365, Azure/AWS concepts, hosted solutions, DRaaS).
• Mandatory knowledge in Cybersecurity solutions (firewalls, endpoint security, secure networking, security frameworks).
• Basic to intermediate understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions and how AI can enhance business processes.
• Understanding of solution architecture concepts and digital transformation strategies.
• Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
