The successful candidate will provide management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial expertise in the development and analysis of key financial information for management decision making. The Management Accountant will also take ownership and accountability for the preparation of management accounts, reports, budgets, commentaries, and other internal analysis within agreed timelines.
• Preparing income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents
• Measuring the company’s financial performance based on financial records.
• Identifying problem areas and presenting recommendations to Company Management
• Perform monthly financial analysis.
• Evaluating and monitoring financial information systems and recommending improvements where needed
• Communicating and interpreting financial data to non-financial Managers
• Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts.
• Compiling of weekly and monthly connections report.
• Preparing Monthly & Quarterly Consolidated Reporting Package and submitting to the group.
• Support financial planning team on budgeting and forecasting.
• Perform other company Statutory & Compliance reporting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Financial Management or equivalent
• Be analytical and detail-oriented with good financial skills and an expert understanding of current accounting principles
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Additional qualification as such CPA, CA or equivalent would be advantageous
• Strong understanding of business principles and finance in order to interpret data and make strategic recommendations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to analyse and summarize complex information.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with spreadsheet and accounting software programs.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding.
